Your job
- Develop, train, and optimize statistical models, machine learning solutions, and AI applications.
- Analyze datasets, identify patterns, trends, and influencing factors, and derive reliable recommendations for action.
- Design forecasting, segmentation, and recommendation systems for business-relevant questions.
- Validate and evaluate analytical models and ensure their continuous improvement.
- Design and develop data-driven automation and AI solutions, for example based on large language models and generative AI.
- Prepare and structure data from various sources and engineer suitable features for analytical models.
- Advise internal stakeholders on data analytics topics and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay up to date with developments in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI, bringing relevant innovations into practice.
Your profile
What is particularly important for this role:
- A completed degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, or a comparable field.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, empirical data analysis, and machine learning methodologies.
- Hands-on experience using Python for data science, data preparation, and analytical modeling.
- The ability to logically analyze complex data and relationships and draw sound conclusions.
- Experience in communicating analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner and translating them into actionable recommendations.
- English language proficiency at a minimum level of C1 is required; German language skills at B1 level are desirable.
A plus, but by no means a requirement:
- Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Analytics gained through academic studies, professional training, or certifications.
- Experience with cloud-based or analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering, MLOps, or software development.
- Experience with Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience with data-driven business models, marketing analytics, or related application areas.
